IGEP RADAR LAMBDA can be used on this kind of application when pressure and temperature conditions are not extreme. You only have to install the radar at the top of the tank with the antenna facing the material surface contained on the tank and start measuring range.

In case of extreme environmental conditions it would be needed to develop special antenna that can support high presures pressures and temperatures.
