Talk:How to get the Ubuntu distribution

I have a new IGEPv2 Rev C board here (without Bluetooth, WLAN).
I _exactly_ followed the instructions to run Ubuntu on this board,
but without _any_ success. ISEE support seems not to be as good
as expected... I will have to build my own distribution obviously
(which is quite a lot of work, I hoped to get around this...)
Other platforms like Sheevaplug or Dockstar with Debian are better
supported in this respect.

I followed the instructions this page until it mentioned /usr/local/poky. I don't know where to get this from. I'm going to search through the downloads on the main site. [[User:Jmacarthur|Jmacarthur]] 19:42, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
I've installed successfully Ubuntu 10.10 Netbook on my IGEP v2 Rev. C and also replaced the kernel. It recognizes the wired interface, but is very slow and it does not recognize the wireless interface. leoaran 13:01, 01 December 2010 (UTC)
I'm trying to get jaunty distribution (because have the same problem of white display as Jmacarthur with 10.XX), but unfortunately there is no possible to make rootstock retrieve packages. Is there any image of a sdcard with a fresh jaunty ubuntu available to download? Would be a really good point to start to people to have an image of a working 10.XXX and 9.XX ubuntu.
